Student diary in Boston, Aug 18
This morning, I shared my passion for judo during the session. Practicing judo has strengthened my mind and given me confidence since I began. Even when I feel like giving up, I push myself to keep going until the end. Writing about myself and giving a speech allowed me to better understand my own strengths.
After lunch, we visited the Harvard campus and participated in a Q&A session with two Harvard students. I asked them whether they thought it was a good thing that AI is becoming more integrated into society. They responded that while they couldn’t give a definitive answer, AI likely has both advantages and disadvantages, so it’s important for people to adapt its use depending on the situation. I was thrilled to engage in such a deep conversation and hear their thoughts.
In the evening, I listened to a speech by Mr. Hashimoto, a graduate of Kaichi who is studying medicine in Boston. His talk was very insightful, and I received excellent advice that will be useful for my future. He emphasized the importance of finding what suits you and putting it into practice. Whenever I face a difficult situation in my life, I will remember his words: “After hard work comes fun.”
