Student diary in Boston, Aug 21
Today marked the final day of our week-long training in Boston. During my presentation, I shared what I had learned from the program, emphasizing the importance of finding joy in everything we do. This was my first time participating in an overseas training program, and at first, I was concerned about my English skills. However, through this experience, I realized that leadership isn’t just about possessing certain skills; it’s also about embracing and enjoying the challenges we encounter. Although I initially felt nervous, those nerves gradually turned into excitement, making this experience truly valuable. After the final presentations, we all had lunch together and spent the rest of the day exploring Boston with our group leader. We talked a lot, wandered around the city, visited various places, and created lasting memories. Even though it was only a week, I learned a great deal and had an incredible experience. I am determined to apply what I’ve gained from this journey and continue to grow upon my return to Japan.
