Student Diary in Boston, Aug 22
Today marked the last day of our study tour, and I couldn’t help but feel sad and lonely knowing it was the final time we would share breakfast together and spend time in our room. Staying at the youth hostel was a priceless experience, as it allowed me to meet and talk with people I wouldn’t have encountered in Japan. After our final breakfast, we all took a walk in Boston Public Garden, surrounded by beautiful nature and large birds by the pond. I chatted with my friends and took pictures with everyone.
Later, we headed to the airport, where we listened to Erin and Miki’s farewell speeches and shared heartfelt hugs. Through this program, I learned what leadership truly means and what I need to work on to become a good leader. There are so many things I could never have learned or experienced without participating in this program, and I am deeply grateful for this opportunity. Goodbye, Boston. Until we meet again!
