Student Diary in Boston, Aug 20
At MIT, we attended a class about exoplanets where we compared the colors of different gases. Although the content of the experiments was complex, I found it fascinating to think about the universe. During our visit, I also saw a machine that could analyze DNA, and I was excited to understand how it worked. After lunch, we visited the Harvard Museum of Natural History, where I was amazed to learn that whales once had hands. Although I don’t usually think much about animals, this sparked my interest.
In the evening, Mr. Yoshinaga joined us and shared his research at MIT. From his talk, I learned the importance of choosing a college based on our passions and the need to be prepared to seize opportunities. I admire him for his work in creating products that help improve people’s lives.
